An Application for Evee, Gio gets a 2nd Shot, and a Return Visitor

Evee's got herself a stellar sports-home application. Sometimes we live in small worlds. Toscana, who I've blogged about previously, and who I was hoping to join my family had this family also interested in her. Eventually Toscana went to a home as a single dog with kids -her favorite as she had quite large fear issues around bigger dogs.

So, fate played a funny hand and brought me Evee, who is the sportsy style of dog they're looking for. When they dropped by the daycare to board their current dog for the weekend, they met little Evee and fell in love! So, here's hoping its a good match all the way around. I'm not sure if Evee has the potential to be a sports star, but I know she'll give her hardest if there's cookies involved :P

Fate has also been kind to Gio. Although his adoption fell through, the second application (that was just as good) is ESTATIC that he's still available. As far as I know this home is one where he'll go to work at a high school with his mum. My fingers are crossed for you big guy, I know you're spirit is that of a great ambassador.

In other news, Honey (now Daisy) who fostered with me a few months ago came for a visit with her sister Hani. (For the record, it feels rather odd to suddenly get paid for a dog that's been a foster previously). I'm very proud to say Daisy is not one bit shy anymore. Strangers, dogs, scary facial hairred men -no worries. She's got a heap-load of confidence (maybe a little too much :P) but she's exactly the same as when she left -perhaps a little more obedient-, but she was awesome when she left, so no complaints here.

So pictures of the 'gang':
