Brojack's Adventure to Bowen Island

Back in February, Brojack was adopted to a great home here in Victoria. He lived the good life, going everywhere with his dad, gaining off-leash priviledges almost everywhere, and hanging at the daycare while his dad ran the restaurant next door for a few hours each day. Unfortunately for Brojack and his dad though, it wasn't to last. His dad got very sick, and it was attributed to Brojack. After two months of trying different foods (for both dog and person), different shampoos, and the sometimes life-saving furminator, unfortunately the reaction only got worse. So bad, that Brojack's dad had to go to the hospital with breathing difficulties. So Brojack's dad made the difficult decision to put Brojack back up for adoption.

Our fabulous big daddy had a few great applications, but yesterday I took him -and his stuffed chicken- over on the ferry to meet his new mum and two-legged brother who he will join on Bowen Island. Although part of Brojack will still miss his dad for awhile, he will live an awesome rural styled life and bring joy to all the music students who walk through the doors. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to upload the small videos I took of us playing catch on the ferry, but I did get a few photos while he was here.

Good luck in your new home Brojack. I enjoyed the last walk I'll have with you at the beach. Your rock solid temperment and companionship will be missed at the daycare. We look forward to updates. And please, be good to the cats.

Love always,
Emily

What a beauty he is.
Lucky family to have him -and a family on Bowen Island sounds like a good dig for him!
(I consider the idea of moving to Bowen sometimes myself)
Maybe he will get walked around the lake there.
